Eligible personnel can also take advantage of nearby Eglin Air Force Base's commissary, BX, and medical facilities. Destin provides many ways to unwind and enjoy a tropical vacation. Charter Boat trips are available for fishing the Gulf of Mexico. Pets are welcome in the Recreation Area on a leash and in designated ares of the campground only. 7A and 7B are the only two (2) designated cabins for pets.
